Before Take Off
- Auxiliary fuel pump on low; tanks on MAIN
- Transponder to ALT
After Take Off
- Positive rate of climb – touch brakes, gear up
- 500’ – Auxiliary pumps off – one at a time
- Climb out 24”, 2450 RPM
Before Landing
- Fuel selectors on main and their own engine
- Mixture full forward
- Turn on auxiliary fuel pumps
- Check induction air is COLD
- Below 140 KIAS lower flaps to 15 degrees
- Below 122 KIAS lower landing gear (check for green)
- Propellor pitch full forward (2625 RPM)
- Below 122 KIAS lower flaps from 15 to 45 degrees
Base
- Pitch – full fine
- Gear DOWN
- Fuel pump on low; tanks on MAIN
- Flaps set
After Landing
- Retract flaps
- Turn off auxiliary fuel pumps
- Transponder to STBY
